9. Terms and Conditions for Text Message Communications
At Axton Financial, we may offer SMS notifications to keep you informed about your life insurance policy, including updates on policy status, premium payment reminders, claims processing, or other service-related information. By providing your mobile phone number and opting into SMS communications, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
a. Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive texts, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Axton Financial regarding customer care. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies based on your policy activity and interactions with us.
b. Opting In and Out
Participation in our SMS program is voluntary. You may opt in by providing your phone number and agreeing to receive texts during the registration process or through other consent mechanisms we provide. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance to any message you receive from us. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will cease sending SMS messages to your number, except where required by law or to confirm your opt-out.
c. Costs
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Axton Financial does not charge you directly for SMS messages, but you are responsible for any fees imposed by your carrier.
d. Privacy and Security
Phone numbers and mobile opt-in information provided for SMS communications will be used solely for the purposes outlined in this policy and will not be shared with third parties for any purpose, including marketing. See Section 3 ("How We Share Your Information") for more details. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your mobile information, but we cannot guarantee the security of SMS transmissions, as they may be intercepted by third parties outside our control. We do not transfer consumer data to any external organizations under any circumstances, even with consent.
e. Eligibility
You confirm that the phone number you provide belongs to you or that you have the authority to consent to SMS messages on behalf of the number’s owner.
